ROBERT CREIGHTON, one of the busiest character actors working on Broadway today, will celebrate the release of his smashing debut recording, "Ain't We Got Fun!" at The Metropolitan Room stage on February 12 and 13 at 9:30pm. Creighton will be accompanied by a five piece ensemble and will welcome special guest performers.

“Ain’t We Got Fun!” features music primarily from the first three decades of the 20thC., along with two CREIGHTON originals from his award winning, original musical CAGNEY! CREIGHTON and Producer/Arranger GEORGIA STITT, have created a good time, vintage sounding album with such authenticity and enthusiasm, listeners of all ages will be tapping their toes and crooning along with some of the most beautiful American melodies ever. Joel Grey, Kate Baldwin, Heidi Blickenstaff and Tituss Burgess add the icing on the cake with delightful appearances on the album.

CREIGHTON grew up listening to this style of music and fell even more deeply in love while researching and co-writing his musical about the life of screen legend and song and dance man, James Cagney. “Ain’t We Got Fun!” was born of CREIGHTON’s passion for the music of that era.

ROBERT CREIGHTON is currently appearing in the Tony Award winning revival of ANYTHING GOES. In addition to his role as the Purser, CREIGHTON understudies JOEL GREY as Moonface Martin, a role he has had the privilege to play for several weeks during the run. ANYTHING GOES is CREIGHTON’s sixth in a non-stop string of Broadway roles, which include: Amos in CHICAGO, Timon in THE LION KING, Chef Louis in THE LITTLE MERMAID and more. Reviewers from the New York Times, The Daily News, and Variety, have written: “Robert Creighton brought the house down…exceeds all expectations…enormous spirit...leaves the audience breathless...stops the show in its tracks...."
